From Silicon Valley to Taiwan to Wall Street
The New York Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce and Junior Chamber will hold a forum titled "From Silicon Valley to Taiwan to Wall Street: A Taiwanese-American Perspective" at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York on July 11 at 6 PM. The event aims to encourage broad participation from all sectors of society. Through the personal experiences of successful entrepreneurs, attendees will learn how these individuals have achieved success in both Silicon Valley and Wall Street.
The forum will feature distinguished guests, including Steve Chen, a Taiwanese-American entrepreneur currently residing in Taipei, and Jack Fu, co-founder of Draco Evolution.
Steve Chen is the co-founder of YouTube. During the pandemic, he and his family moved to Taiwan, making him the first foreigner to receive the "Employment Gold Card" issued by the Taiwanese government. In Taiwan, Chen continued his entrepreneurial journey, co-founding Draco Capital with Jack Fu, where he serves as Chief Technology Officer. Draco Capital is a tech startup that utilizes AI algorithms and machine learning to refine investment strategies. The company is dedicated to providing clients with innovative investment options incorporating AI-assisted and risk-adjusted approaches through their AI and risk management systems. Draco Group will also celebrate its first ETF listing with a bell-ringing ceremony at the New York Stock Exchange on July 12, offering new investment choices to investors.
Forum moderators will invite guests to share their entrepreneurial experiences in Silicon Valley and Taiwan, discussing why they aim to bring Taiwan's AI and investment achievements to the U.S. capital markets.
Ambassador Kuang-Chang Lee of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York will deliver a speech. The economic section of the office will also introduce the Employment Gold Card and Entrepreneur Visa, encouraging U.S. professionals to start businesses and seek employment in Taiwan.
New York Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce President, Ching-Fu Lin, stated that the chamber has always been committed to building a bridge for business exchanges between Taiwan and the United States. He expressed great honor in inviting Steve Chen and Jack Fu to share their entrepreneurial experiences in both Taiwan and the U.S., and how they utilize AI to bring advanced concepts and products from Taiwan to America.
